The Watcher’s Coil

Painted in September 2025 at the ancient stones of Mount Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, MD, this work emerged as twilight fell and the atmosphere thickened with charged silence. The energy was coiled, serpentine—like something unseen encircling the artist, measuring each movement of the brush. Some claim a subtle form materialized in the corner of the eye: a figure of patience, looping upon itself, perhaps a Watcher lingering between realms.

The painting carries a glowing pink aura at its foundation, layered with swirling threads of violet, pale silver, and shadowed black. These colors twist in spirals and ribbons, moving in continuous motion, as though wrapping around the viewer like the tightening coils of a guardian serpent. This piece feels alive, its current is circular, wrapping back into itself, a rhythm that pulls the mind inward to the center.
